In case you haven't guessed it by now ... YES I'm having a boy!
A couple weeks ago I had my baby shower and the handsome gentleman in these pics is the father of my child, Reginald Zion Greene (let's hope nothing changes).
I let him win with the first name unfortunately (he always wanted a junior so I gave in), this is both our first child and I always wanted a girl but he always wanted a boy.
So I compromised but I always wanted my boy to be named 'Zion' so middle name it is... Little does he know everyone shall call him Zion, thank you very much!
The theme was spiritual for me... I'm soo into horoscopes and birth signs that I thought it was so special that I am a Virgo mother which is always a symbolic woman holding a water bearer jug and my son is supposed to be born as an Aquarius which is literally the symbol of a water bearer jug. So me being me I just thought wow... maybe spiritually my son was meant to be, at this time in my life it just felt special to me. I just felt that's it... that's my theme! I wanted all flowers everywhere to resemble a 'Garden of Eden' type look honestly I wanted to channel a 'Rivendell' scenery from "Lord of the Rings" somewhat...to create an "Aquarius Paradise".
The decor was spectacular! I came sooo late (we shall not even go there), but none of that mattered when I got there because it was a dream to walk into. The room was packed with love, we certainly did not expect that turn out especially on a Sunday. We just felt so blessed & loved we were so appreciative of everything down to the littlest detail. My mom, my decorator, & my stepmom did a phenomenal job with all the decor & details from the tables to the treats to the photo stations... it was just EVERYTHING I could ever imagine & MORE! They managed to make the father of my child smile the whole night -- that is a RARE sight!
Family & friends showed so much love & we couldn't have been happier !
And now... we just can't wait to meet our baby boy!
After all of this let's hope he comes before February 18th because that's the deadline apparently for the Aquarius sign! Imagine I get a Pisces after this entire theme! Hilarious... and would be my son to move on his own time. Here's hoping y'all !
